And I just encourage you, like, what would it look like to enter into a place of like curiosity

and openness to say like, Jesus, I literally surrender all my tradition, all my expectation,

all my religion, everything that I've thought and come in expecting of you, that I've come

with my preconceived ideas of what life with you is like, your way is better.

And that's my prayer for all of us this Christmas.

I won't lose hope in the night when the fire is growing down.

I'll just let go and I'll try help me walk this road and find my way back home.

What a sweet year it's been.

It's been an amazing year. I think what's amazing for us to think through, I, you know, it's so busy. We hustle. We try to get things done at

Christmas time. And we rarely take time to, I was reading just recently, and actually it was in the 25 days of the Christmas story book, we talk about it, but I was also reading it somewhere else where the star that the magi followed were, the star was a representation of following God.

They were, it was leading them to Jesus.

And the family activity actually in the, in the 25 days

of the Christmas story for the star is to go outside and just stare at the constellations, to

stare at the sky and to imagine what it's like to just stand there. Imagine what the magi were experiencing as they were journeying to find

Jesus probably for, I mean, for a very long time. You know, it's thought that Jesus was probably

two years old by the time they found him following the star. And so you got to imagine what they

were experiencing in the in the in the in the in the night sky. They had no cell phones. They had no

screens. And I want you to imagine what they were experiencing while they were following God.

Was it the fear of Herod? Was it the excitement of seeing
