edition and the voice you will be hearing is Lori, who is a fan and listener of the show.

And she'll be reading a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

So we thought it'd be nice to introduce a different voice and to have a listener contribute to the show.

So thanks to Lori for actually doing these and I'm sure you guys will love them so let's get started.

Hello everyone we're going to be listening to a reading of a Christmas Carol by

Charles Dickens this is a beloved classic that we all enjoy at

this time of year and we thought this would be a fun idea to do a reading of Charles Dickens,

a Christmas Carol.

So let's get started.

Chapter 1.

Marley's Ghost.

Marley was dead to begin with.

There is no doubt whatever about that.

The register of his burial was signed by the clergyman, the clerk,

the undertaker, and the chief mourner. Scrooge signed it, and Scrooge's name was good upon

change for anything he chose to put his hand to. Old Marley was his was as a door-nail.

Old Marley was as dead as a door-nail.

Mind, I don't mean to say that I know of my own knowledge

what there is particularly dead about a door-nail.

I might have been inclined myself to regard a coffin nail as the deadest piece of iron mongery in the trade.

But the wisdom of our ancestors is in the simile, and my unhollowed hands shall not disturb it, or the country's done for.
