Summary

As a Christian mom, I really wanted to be able to confidently wrap my head around what my biblical response to alternative lifestyles should be AND how to talk with my kids about the world they are growing up in. The lie that the Enemy instilled in mankind in the Garden of Eden was this: Without God and outside of God's boundaries and without heeding the word of God, we can become LIKE God. We don't need Him, we can make our own rules and still reach some sort of utopia. This is the lie we see being blatantly believed and lived out around us. What should our response be? How do we protect our kids while still preparing them? We CAN disagree with someone and still love them. Our culture is trying to convince us that disagreeing and loving are mutually exclusive. This causes an inner conflict that results in being afraid to do or say anything at all. God calls us to be the hands, feet, and mouth of Christ. Changing hearts is HIS job.

0:00.0	I'm Duranda Wilson. I am married to Daryl. We have been married for almost 30 years. We've got eight kids. Their ages are 14 to 28.
0:21.3	We've graduated six from our homeschooling crew so far.
0:26.2	And so we've been homeschooling for over 24 years.
0:28.9	And we have got our sixth grandbaby on the way.
0:33.3	Because my life isn't quite as busy with kids as it used to be.
0:37.7	I love doing this podcast and sharing encouragement for moms who are maybe just not quite as far in the journey.
0:46.7	So today is actually part two to a podcast that I am doing with my friend Judy, who was, lived a lesbian lifestyle for several years
1:03.7	and was in fact in relationship with another woman for 16 years.
1:09.1	And then God got a hold of her life and her entire life turned around.
1:14.4	And she shared that testimony in the last podcast. So if you haven't had a chance to go listen
1:19.0	to that, I would encourage you to go and listen to this powerful testimony of God's work in
1:25.1	Judy's life. But currently, Judy is happily married to Brad.
1:30.5	She recently retired from her Monday through Friday job at a 911 center,
1:35.6	and they're currently waiting for clear direction from the Lord on how they can minister full-time
1:40.7	by sharing the love of Christ wherever they are called.
1:44.3	And she was sharing in the last podcast that God is giving them some direction.
1:47.7	And I just, I can't wait to see what he's going to do and how he's going to use them.
