The most prominent victim of this crackdown is tennis star Peng Shui, who basically no longer

exist in the country's internet after she openly accused a former political leader of

sexually assaulting her. There's been a global outcry of concern for her safety and freedom,

but lesser-known individuals who have critiqued China's policies and social mores, they've vanished

one by one, and few outsiders have even noticed.
