What is up, everybody?

Welcome to, for now, the farewell edition of Talking to League Fitness as we go in our indefinite break.

0:18.1

And I'm Sean Woodland, joined, as always, by Tommy Marquez and Lauren Khalil, but we figured we'd throw this back to the, we're going to end where we started. And we're bringing in our good friends, Heber Cannon and Marston Sawyers. How are you guys doing? Awesome. Awesome, man. Happy to be the bookend. You know, everybody appreciates a good bookend. Yeah, because for those of you that don't know, like it's like seven and a half years ago, we started this thing in Mars's kitchen and recorded the, the recorded the first episode twice. And yeah, so that was that was it. We're like, you know what? What are we going to do here to kind of to let's send this thing into sort of our indefinite break? And it's like, let's get Mars and Heap, we got to. So I think like the thing I really wanted to talk to you guys about that, I'm really interested is that you have made a career of kind of just like pivoting and surviving and continuing to make great content in the process.

1:11.9

So where are you now in the,

1:13.9

in your whole sort of evolution of your brand?

1:15.9

1:19.1

And now it seems like you have branched out.

1:21.0

So give me the sort of like,

1:22.6

just the state of the buttery bros right now.

1:26.6

Well, we always like, we, I've heard that a little bit, but some of our first most,

1:31.2

even most successful episodes that we have were kind of based in CrossFit, but then we would

1:37.0

have, like one of the first episodes that really popped off was helicopter razors and

1:42.8

a pump sush with Steve Cook, where we ended up going to the Iron Games.

1:47.2

Tommy's in this episode, and we flew helicopters, we rode razors, and we were doing things

1:52.2

always outside of the gym.

1:53.6

And from the beginning, like some of my favorite stuff we would do is like we would go to

1:57.8

Miami to do an open announcement for 19.5, but I would schedule

2:02.6

an hour and a half break where we would sneak away, get on jet skis for 45 minutes, and

2:07.6

then bolt back to be on the open announcement to cover that as well.

2:13.6

So I've always described the show as adventure tourism with the foundation of fitness and built with CrossFit.

2:23.0

Like we're not giving up those roots.
