Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Roberts and as always I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard I just have no idea what we're going to talk about.

Yeah plenty to talk about man what a busy weekend on the Mississippi State Beach got a lot to say a lot to discuss a a lot to discuss, a lot to prepare you for.

I want to give you some behind the scenes information as well. That's why you tune in, right?

It's not just for the stuff that's made public. You want to know what's really kind of going on behind

the scenes. I'm going to share as much of that as I can. Hope but you guys had a great weekend and we've got something else to look forward to on the football side. We'll talk a little bit about that. I've got a cool top 10 list. We'll talk a little bit about the state championships, Zach Arnett, and some Mississippi state men's basketball and women's basketball. No, we don't have an update on Josh Hubbard. Okay, let me just go

ahead and lay that out there for you. We don't have an update. Well, our media folks will have

the opportunity to speak to Chris Jan's a little bit later in the week and we hope to get

an update then. Jacob Bain was there in Tupelo covering the game and said that Josh had a

noticeable limp even as in

postgame. So it's where it is. That's where it is. Before we get too deep in the reeds,

I wanted to share a story with you. And I wish it was a happy one.

But I got a call this morning.

One of our Boneyard listeners,

Dane Harbin,

United States Marine Corps veteran,

I elected to I elected a path to take his life about three weeks ago on November 22nd.

And, uh, you guys know that this cause and people are very dear to my heart.

And, uh, I, I bring that up because, uh, you know, speaking to his dad and he's like, you know, Steve, Dane just thought you were the man.

And I wish that I would have known him better.

I wish I would have had the opportunity to talk to him.

Not that I could have done any good, but I could have at least tried.

And so I bring that up again, just because of the fact.
