Hello, good morning, good afternoon, and welcome back to the Zach Jackson and Friends podcast. I am Zach Jackson. As I'm recording this, it is Thursday, September 12th, week two of the NFL season directly ahead, week three of the college season directly ahead. A lot has gone on. And if you're listening because you're a Browns fan, I would say this.

Let's start with this.

Everyone take a deep breath.

Okay, that didn't make one thing any better.

I don't know.

You laugh, you cry, you age when you're around this team. For two and a half years, it has been anything but normal.

Well, for 25 years, it's been anything but normal.

For two and a half years, it's been anything but normal, anything but fun outside of one month last year.

And so 20 hours after a completely unacceptable, laughably bad performance

all the way around, but specifically from the quarterback in the season opener, the quarterback

gets hit with another civil suit accusing him of sexual assault. And this is a civil suit. These are allegations,

just like the rest of them. Distractions are a part of life. They're a part of football.

You know, I don't even know what to say. When you make this trade, you sign up for these distractions

because even if all of these allegations are untrue you know there have

been 24 settled suits of similar oak and this makes three active right so you're signing up for this

so you're trading the farm saying you're good enough to win this guys you're missing piece right

well now you don't have any tackles. You don't have any running backs.

You have one tight end. You're drafting a defensive tackle who's on the commissioner's exempt list

and a backup guard. And you can't complete passes. And your Pro Bowl tight end, who you did stick with,

it was really, you know, important to stick with him and let him develop and mature is now out

with the high ankle sprain.

And so maybe the Browns can win.
