In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's

word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, I travel a lot

for speaking events, and I've got to tell you, as soon as that plane takes off and we're way up in

the air, that's when I exhale. That's when I look out the window. I whisper a prayer. I just look

at the sky, the sun, the clouds. I marvel at God's

majesty. And I just notice that all the stresses and the trials that I left behind seem to get

smaller as my view of God grows bigger. I always love it. I mean, I don't love hauling my luggage.

I don't love all that other stuff. My sleep getting disrupted when I travel, but I love that time in the plane.

It's sometimes some of my most sacred prayer time is I just ponder what it means to get a grander look at God's creation.

Well, my guest today uses that same analogy in his book, fly through the Bible.

And he helped us get a big picture of landscape of God's story.
