with a series of events.

To begin those series of events, we started with a series of events. To begin those series of events,

we started with a brief history of some of the challenges and triumphs

of the Cato Institute over the last four decades.

Joining me, Cato's David Boz, Ian Vasquez, and Roger Pallon.

I didn't know I was going to get the first words here that's that's how it goes

sometimes that today we're recording a live Cato daily podcast which is so a bigger audience than I'm used to having in the room.

And we're going to talk about sort of the background of Cato, what opportunities were identified in its creation,

sort of some of the challenges that Cato has faced over the years and hopefully provide sort of a roadmap of where Cato's been and hopefully a little bit of where it's going.

So I'm going to introduce our esteemed panel here

with, I think, a combined 200 years of experience

at the Cato Institute, something like that? Something like that?

David Bowes, who you all know is Executive Vice President of the Cato Institute.

He is, that I like to say, the brand manager of the Cato Institute,
