I think Branch is announcing himself as an all-pro caliber player.

But if you want to win it as a safety, there would have to be half a dozen sacks, you know, Jamal Adams prime

style. There'd have to be a couple of pick sixes. But what does Brian Branch have going for?

He's on the best team in football. He played a huge game on Sunday night at Houston where

anyone who watched went, that's the singular best player on the field. You'll have national TV games,

but if you're a safety, you're going to have to just operate outside the margins.

He's going to have to be a better version of Troy Polamalu, better version of Ed Reed.
