0:00.0 | And greetings, happy Thursday. Welcome to the Blaze Live and On Demand. This is the Steve |
0:26.2 | Day Show. That would be me alongside for the ride or Todd and Aaron today. You can let us know what you think about what we think. Steve at SteveDays.com. That's how you can email the program. |
0:36.1 | D-E-A-C-E like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter at Steve Day's show. Got a lot going on here today. It's a theology Thursday. We've got some questions from a student at Liberty University who describes himself as a Christian anarchist. |
0:55.2 | And our responses to his questions are going to make up theology Thursday a little bit later on. Also old friend of the show has been on for a while, but he is. |
1:05.4 | Squared in his sights. Climate change, global warming hysteria. He's a commentator. He's a comedian. He's an author. Evan Sayett's going to join us next hour of the show. Some three non-political questions coming your way at the bottom of the hour as well. |
1:21.9 | But especially with today being a theology Thursday, we love to support. Back to Jerusalem because their heart, their ministry is to take God's word to the ends of the earth, particularly with a focus on what are called closed countries. Now these are countries that are called closed because they're trying to close their people off to the word of God. And there's a simple reason for that. I mean, people that are hope filled, inspired tend to be less tolerant of being oppressed. |
1:48.9 | And so their target are countries like Iran, North Korea, Somalia, communist China. And what they've done is taken the Bible and put it in a small downloadable form that makes it easier. It's just about the size of a pill. So it makes it easier to get past the gatekeepers and the jack booted thugs in these closed countries. But they need our help. They're total overhead cost from conception to delivery of one of these downloadable Bibles to a persecuted person in a closed country is about 30% of the time. |
2:18.9 | $15 a pop. If this seems like something, you're like, Hey, you know what, man, I can bring my lunch tomorrow. And we're going to do this instead. Blase help dot or G is the website, Blase help dot org or give them a call at 844 3050 566 844 3050 566. And now here's Aaron with what happened while we were away. |
2:42.9 | Brought to you by the bar hearing. The last question that I have in 17 seconds. Do you think it's okay for president to offer pardons to people who don't testify against him to threaten the family of someone who does. Is that okay? |
3:00.9 | What when did he offer a pardon to something? I think you know what I'm talking about. Please. Please Mr. Attorney General, you know, give us some credit for knowing what the hell is going on around here with you. Not really. |
3:15.9 | To this line of questioning. So we're going to listen. You slandered this man. Yeah, what I sort of want to know is how do we get to this point? I do not think that we get to the point. |
3:27.9 | All I can say, Mr. Chairman, I am done. Thank you very much. You slandered this man from top to bottom. He is trying to blackmail the committee into not following what we think is the most effective means of listening information we need. |
3:45.9 | Millbar was supposed to continue his hearing this morning, but chicken bar should have shown up today and answered questions. |
3:52.9 | He was afraid of Barry Burke. He was afraid of Norm Eisen. Just remember, they're all our employees. James Comey op-ed how Trump co-ops leaders like Bill Barr. First of all, I don't know why James Comey feels the need to weigh in at every sort of large moment. |
4:08.9 | Minnesota Congresswoman Ilan Omar says the crisis in Venezuela is our fault. A lot of the policies that we have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in |
4:21.9 | Venezuela. We've sort of set the stage for where we are arriving today. This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela. It certainly does not help. |
4:46.9 | And it's not in the interest of the United States. MSNBC your thoughts have to understand. |
4:52.6 | In Venezuela, gun ownership is not something that is open to everybody. So if the military have the guns, they have the power. |
4:59.9 | And as long as Nicholas Maduro controls the military, he controls the country. |
5:04.4 | Independent journalist Andy Ngoel was pepper sprayed by a member of Antifa outside an event he was covering. |
5:09.9 | Chris Cuomo your thoughts. |
5:16.9 | Can talk about Antifa. I've watched them in the streets protesting in different situations. |
