A lot happening in the Brian Coburger case.

And what do I mean by a lot?

Well, a lot in the way that Judge Koberger, it seems, is going to rule.

He gave a little hint of that yesterday, that he was going to rule that be prepared because

this case is going to go forward.

He hinted in the hearings yesterday with jury selection expected to begin in less than six

weeks, the judge handling Brian Kohlberg's quadruple murder trial has warned attorneys on both

sides to be ready to go as planned.

He'd consider the defense's teams request to delay the proceedings, but warned

attorneys on both sides to be ready to go late next month.

Fourth District Judge Stephen Hippler said Wednesday at he would issue a written

ruling on a trial timing soon.

As of now, I would tell you it's likely you're going to trial on the date indicated,

Hippler said.

And of course, we know Coburger, who's 30 years old, a former graduate student and criminal

justice at Washington State University's charged with four counts of murder,

prosecutors said he sneaked into a rental home in nearby Moscow, Idaho,

not far from the University of Idaho campus,

and fatally stabbed Ethan Chapin, Zana Connoldel, Madison Mogan, and Kaylee Gonzalez,

on the morning of November 13th, 2022.
