The sun is shining.

A little bit of a blue sky out there.

The rain has passed for the moment.

The sun is shining, in fact, on the pickets.

The pickets outside hospitals up and down this country.

Only about a quarter of them, though, of course, are actually out on strike.

Because an awful lot of proper nurses, an awful lot of real nurses, an awful lot of people who actually care about the

community, are not walking off the job, they're not leaving their post, they're not actually

refusing to help sick people, they're actually doing what they are paid to do, which is to nurse,

to nurse people back to health. People are called nurses, not so they can stand on picket
