The Billionaire, the Psychedelics and the best-selling memoir. That was the headline that caught

our attention from the New York Times last week who published a long-form story about billionaire Amy Griffin

and her memoir The Tell. Everyone from Oprah Winfrey to Gwyneth Paltrow,

Theresa Witherspoon, had endorsed Amy's book.

But now there are some pretty big questions being raised about the story within.

Why do I feel like this is the tale as old as time when it comes to memoirs?

Yeah, it feels like a story in some ways we've told before,

but this also has elements I'd never even heard of before. Before we get into any of it, how are you? What are you recommending? I've befriended an Uber driver this week. Oh, lovely. I'll get to a wreck in a second, but can I tell you this story first? You may. Okay, so I've started taking Uber's to work more because life with the child is more chaotic and I can never

do my makeup at home anymore. So like I need car time to do my makeup. So I've been coming to work in an

Uber and a man in my area is always working the slot that I'm going to work. You've got the same

person. Yeah. And we have a routine. How many times have you had him? This morning was my fourth. No way. We have like camaraderie between us. Is it because you book him in advance? I book in advance and he accepts in advance. Then I see his name pop up. For privacy reasons, I won't reveal. We can change his name, Bartholome. John. Sure. So John Bartholomew. Yeah. and I see he's like Toyota Camry come up and I'm like, oh my God, so exciting. And we have a routine. I don't know if John Bartholomew has always liked Adele or if he looked at me and he thinks I like Adele, which I do love Adele. You give Adele. I get in the car. He puts Spotify on and blasts Adele the whole way to work. And that is my recommendation. I have something else as well, but that is a recommendation. If you want to be hyped, for some reason, blasting Adele in your ears on the way to work is a great way to start the day. Can I ask two very quick questions? Because I know we've got a lot to get through today.

Do you acknowledge every time that it's the same person? This morning we did. Oh, okay. So the first three times you didn't. He asked me, well, the third time he was like, I picked you up before. And I was like, yeah, John Bartholome. You have? You have. And then today he asked what we do for work, what I was getting ready for because we had a headshot day today.

So we probably noticed I put on a good top. Yeah, and he's like, there must be something special going on. I was leaning in. But yeah, it's my new routine. John Bartholome, you and I blast Adels. I'm obsessed with that. What are you recommending? I vaguely recall you recommended Running Point on Netflix, or is that a mistake? The one with Kate Hudson.

No, I kind of recommended it, but also said I didn't really like it. I love it. Okay, good.
