Max, good to see you today today how are you as we head into week two uh buddy i'm like i think on the injury report i'm i'm day to day today yeah it's been it's been a week can i do a quick uh i figure i should do a quick ad read here to start off. Today's episode, it's brought to you by sleep. Sleep. It gives you everything and it costs you nothing. I don't get enough of it during the week. I don't get enough of it on Saturdays. Don't be a dummy like Max. Get yourself some sleep. I hate to hear that, man, because I slept really, really well last that. I went to bed before midnight, which is a rarity for me during the season. Wow. I respect it. Yeah. Although it's a grind, buddy. It's a grind. Although our two-year-old was up in the middle of the night. So yeah, we've had some of that this week. It's a little bit of a struggle.

When the kids don't cooperate with the sleep schedule, it gets a little challenging.

Yeah, and it's just, you know, we're in that time of year when time management, pretty important.

I'm glad we're in week two.

We got some big games this week.

Got a great show today.

A lot of games to discuss. We'll hit, of course, on Alabama, Texas, the big one down in Austin. We've got a late night top 25 battle between Baylor and BYU. We've got Sy Hawk. That's coming up this week, and we got a few others. And we got a special guest today. We got Houston quarterback Clayton too and he joins the show to talk about one of the best games a week one that triple overtime thriller that houston pulled out against utsa and of course the cougars go to lubbick for a big show down a future big 12 matchup with tex tech so excited to have clayton on the show but but stick around for that part he was he was awesome yeah no clayton was terrific so let's get into it let's start with alabama texas uh this is the big one that it's been on the

calendar since they put it on in 2018 i was talking to calendar cober and the other day he said

uh he wasn't sure he'd even be around you know it was announced when he was a freshman he goes

i thought maybe i'd be in the NFL by time this game happened. But alas, he's here. He's excited for it. 11 a.m. Central on Fox, the big noon kickoff game. College game, they'll be there as well. Alabama, a 20 and a half point favorite. And I will be there as well.
