In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's word and that heightens

your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, if you listen, often enough,

you know, every month we have our good friend Dan Bennett on the show. We used to call it a faith

perspective from the Hill. Well, Fan stepped away from his role in public policy and now serves

the kingdom in a completely different way. We've covered that on the last few shows.

What he's doing is absolutely amazing. Even so, he's got a divine and I think a prophetic view

on the news items of the day, the policies that are passing in our day and where we're going as a

nation. And I feel like he really brings a balanced, humble perspective.

So we like to just talk about what we're reading about

and what God is telling us to do or asking of us

and how we can really be a part of flourishing in our own communities.

You know, it's like if you watch so much of the bad news

that it feels like it upstages the good news, you've lost your way and you've lost perspective.

The good news is far better news than the bad news because what we see now with our eyes, it's temporary.

But what we can't see, it's eternal.

And anything we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed to us when Christ returns.

So that means as Christ followers, there's a way to navigate the times.

There's a way to steward our perspective.
