We begin reading with Matthew 6'5, and the very first thing that Jesus said about prayer was he taught

what prayer was not. And he said some startling things. One of the things I focused on last night was it

says in Matthew 6.5 that hypocrites love to pray. And that just shocks people.

You know, prayer has become something that you just don't touch.

This is so sacred, and yet, you know what?

Prayer is one of the areas that you can get into a tremendous amount of religious junk,

and it's a problem in the body of Christ.

So last night, we began to counter some of the misconceptions

about prayer.

And I said this last night, but I want to say it again

for those of you that are new that I'm entitling this

a better way to pray.

It's not the only way to pray.

It's not if you don't pray this way, you're wrong.

Because none of us have perfect revelation of anything.

And, you know, there's times that, man, everything I'm teaching against,

I've done it one time or another.

And yet I loved God and God loved me.
