And now, here's Andrew.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth.

Neither did I anoint myself at all till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

This time he not only prayed but he fasted and he

prayed. He didn't anoint himself. He was afflicting himself and just focused

100% on God and it took three weeks before he got his answer.

Down here in the 10th verse, it says, and behold a hand touched me which set me upon my knees. and

upon the hand touch me which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved,

understand the words that I speak unto thee and stand upright for unto thee am I now sent and when he had spoken this word unto me I stood trembling.

So here is Daniel praying this time adding to it fasting

afflicting his soul prayed and instead of the prayer being answered in

three minutes this time it's answered in three weeks

three weeks? Three weeks. Why do you think God answered the first

prayer in three minutes and the second prayer in three weeks? Have any of you ever had that happen where you pray and some things

just happen instantly and other things it takes a long period of time? Why does God answer

some prayers instantly in other prayers it seems like it takes a long time.
