And now, here's Andrew. Here's how prayer works. He said, speak to your mountain and command it to be cast into the sea.

You know what the average Christian is doing is saying, God, I've got this mountain.

Please move this mountain.

They're talking to God about their mountain instead of talking to their mountain about God.

The Lord told you to talk to the mountain, not talk to God. The mountain here is your problem.

Whatever your problem is, speak to it. Notice what Jesus did, the whole thing that occasioned

this. He spoke to the fig tree. He answered the fig tree.

Fig tree had already been talking to him. And he talked to the fig tree and he goes on in the next

verse after this, verse 24, talking about prayer. He says whatsoever things you desire when you pray,

believe that you receive them and you shall have them and so Jesus prayed over this fig tree

but there never was any type of a petition or request to God instead he's calling it prayer

when he took his authority believed and spoke to the obstacle spoke to the problem he's calling

that prayer did you know when you need to be healed if you would take into account all the things I've been teaching about prayer this week, God already knows what you have need of. You don't need to tell him what the doctor said. You don't need to tell him how bad you feel. You don't need to tell him that dear old Aunt Susie died of this same thing. And if you don't do something I'm going to die. That's not the purpose of prayer is to inform poor

misinformed God of what needs to happen and you don't need to sit there and grip and complain.

God's already done it by his stripes you were healed. So I have people all the time say,

so what is the purpose of prayer if you've

already got it if God's already healed me then how do I how do I get healed how do I

pray well first of all you enter into his gates with Thanksgiving begin to praise him

that he's already done it magnify him that, that builds your faith, it encourages you,
