Welcome to our Friday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

This week I've been talking about prayer, specifically what prayer is, is the primary purpose of prayer.

This is the end of my third week.

I talked about what prayer is not.

I talked about Old Testament versus New Testament prayer and intercession.

And this week I've just been trying to emphasize that prayer is not primarily to ask for something or to repent.

Now those are elements and there is a time and a place for that.

But prayer is primarily about just worshipping and fellowshiping with the Lord.

I've got this little book. This is a brief summary of the entire teaching that we are giving away as our free gift.

And then we have an entire book on this entitled A Better Way to Pray.

I've got it in English and Spanish.

I've got study guides. I've got DVDs, CDs, a USB.

And we even have an audio book on this.

And I'll tell you this.

This is just life transforming when you begin to use prayer primarily to bless the Lord.

I've said a lot of things about this.

I can't go back through all of it.
