| 0:00.0 | Welcome, guys. We are talking about decision making. And guys, isn't this something we face every single day. And today we're going to start big picture and we're going to talk about how do we know where God is leading us and how do we make decisions about how we spend our time. |
| 0:21.0 | So my husband is here. So let's start with just an idea about how we philosophically, because |
| 0:28.2 | some people just don't even have this layer, this foundational layer of how we approach our time |
| 0:34.2 | and our lives, that they belong to God and that we were made for God. |
| 0:40.3 | Yeah, so, I mean, I think of the scripture that my life is not my own. |
| 0:45.3 | I was bought at a price. |
| 0:47.3 | And so when I think about my life, my life belongs to God. |
| 0:50.3 | So first of all, I am his. |
| 0:53.8 | And so whatever he has for me is what I most want. |

| 1:18.3 | you more power, a better job description, that college will get you a better job. You can make a |
| 1:23.6 | decision because of money. You can make a decision because of people you love. And again, |
| 1:28.6 | not all of those are bad reasons to make a decision. But if they're the main reason you're making a |
| 1:32.7 | decision, I think it is a bad reason. I think it can derail God's work in our lives. And what we saw |
| 1:38.6 | in our lives was the more we surrendered to God and the more we said, hey, we're going to seek first the kingdom of |
| 1:45.0 | God and we're going to trust God with all these other things. The less our life made sense |
| 1:50.0 | to other people and even to ourselves. And the more fun and the more God exploded in our lives. |
| 1:58.6 | So it became riskier and scarier, but God got bigger. |
| 2:02.2 | We needed him more. |
