Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing a series that I started on Monday talking about a believer or disciple, and

I'm dealing with an issue that really needs to be dealt with in the body of Christ.

The church, for whatever reason, has lowered the standard from what Jesus told us to do.

Matthew chapter 28, verse 19, told, he told us to go and make disciples of all

nations and teach them to observe all things that I've commanded you. The average church today is

saying, let's just go get people born again. Let's just get them to repeat a prayer. And it is true

that it's as simple as you just believing and

receiving. We see that by the thief that was on the cross. He didn't have time to go to church,

pay his ties, do any of the religious rituals. He just said, Lord, remember me when you come into

your kingdom. And that was enough. Jesus said, today, you will be with me

in paradise. So it's as simple as that. But if that thief had been able to live, and if he had

lived for another 20 or 30 years, and yet he had never gone beyond just that, I don't believe

that would have been true salvation. The Bible says faith

without works is dead. And I've been using this verse out of John chapter 8 and in verse 30,

and I want to use this again because I know that not everybody watches every single day.

And so this may be something that you haven't heard, but this is powerful.

John chapter 8, verse 30, while he spake these words, many believed on him. This is talking

about Jesus as he was talking about how he came from the Father and he had his authority

from God that he was the Messiah. As he spake these words,
