Summary

"All Quiet On The Western Front" had its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, where it received praise for its adaptation of the famous anti-war novel, the technical craft of its battle sequences, and depicting the horrors of war in a frighteningly realistic and brutal manner. Director Edward Berger's film has been nominated for the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards for Best International Feature Film and is Germany's submission for the same category at this year's Academy Awards. We were fortunate to talk with leading actor Felix Krammerer, his co-star and executive producer Daniel Brühl, producer Malte Grunert, and composer Volker Bertelmann. Each of them had valuable insight into the making of one of the best films of the year. The film is now available to stream on Netflix. Please take a listen below and enjoy.
