The U.S. continues to apply pressure, sanctioning four Ukrainians for waging a Russian influence

effort inside the country, okaying Baltic countries to send U.S. made weaponry to the Ukrainian

military.

For its part, Russia denies it as any intention of invading.

Saying it's the U.S. and West, we're causing their own menacing global problems.

We are convinced that the goal of this campaign is to create a cover for their own large-scale

provocations, which may have tragic consequences for global security.

What are they saying now?

On the border there with Ukraine and certainly looking like they're going to invade.

This is from pretty recently.

Russian troops have officially arrived in the Belarusian town of Yeltsk, which is only

10 miles from Ukraine.

A local news outlet made a short story about it there.

Michael McFowl, who was a House Republican representative on the Foreign Relations Committee,

thought that was an ominous sign.

They're now within 10 miles of the border on that side.

They have Ukraine surrounded on three sides.

I do not think World War III is going to come out of this, even if Russia invades.

I do think it's a really big deal.

The first time a country has invaded another country like this since World War II.
