I was up in East Hardwick talking with a farmer who ran out of water last weekend, and I stopped in to visit Forrest and see how he was coming along with the barn.

Forrest had to sell his cows last year because his barn would not pass inspection.

And thanks to a lot of you, we raised money to tear down the leaning part of the barn so he could

build something simpler than get back to milking. It was slow going at first. There was lots of

time and money on demolition and permitting and moving electrical

panels. And he is finally building. And when I got to the farm, he was sitting and resting because it was

84 degrees on the 3rd of October. Here's Forrest. How are you doing? Good. Always good.

I've been starting at five.

Five after five.

This morning it was eight after five.

And last night I went to bed ten minutes of ten.

But we got a lot done, and there's a lot of work.
