I realize that Halloween is still a ways off, but because I can't wait for it to get here,

0:05.2

and because I'm currently packing for our move back to Michigan,

0:08.3

I thought that playing a rewind episode of my Halloween special from 2020 seemed appropriate.

0:14.4

Now I'll be back on Monday with an all new episode, so in the meantime,

0:18.6

have a great weekend, and I hope you enjoy this rewind of episode 100.

0:30.0

Yes, welcome to the show once again, everybody. I am your host, Nick Ryan.

0:47.0

For as long as I can remember, I have loved Halloween. As I've mentioned before,

1:41.4

For many, Halloween is a celebration of the loved ones that have been lost. It is a time to embrace

1:48.0

our fear of the unknown, and it's a reminder of the holidays that are soon to follow.

1:54.4

It's a time of the year that holds a great deal of significance in many cultures,

1:58.4

from multitude of reasons. So, rather than me sitting here spouting off facts about the history

2:03.7

of Halloween, I urge you to take the time and research it for yourself. I think you just

2:09.6

might be pleasantly surprised at what you learn about this amazing holiday. Instead,

2:15.6

I'd like to take some time tonight to share a few stories with you. Some will be from our very
