I'm doing well, man. Thank you for having me. |

| 0:29.2 | So what was it like for you growing up? |
| 0:31.4 | The beginning stages of my life were pretty interesting. I was born into addiction. |
| 0:36.4 | Both my parents were drug addict and alcoholic. I lived |
| 0:40.2 | with them probably for only three years of my life, and then I spent the rest of my time bouncing |
| 0:45.9 | around family members. I was given up to my family. Luckily for me, I wasn't given up for adoption |
| 0:52.7 | or anything, so I was able to stay within my family. |
| 0:55.0 | But that early start was pretty rough. The first few years after not living with my parents, |
| 1:01.0 | I was living in a house with drug addicts that accompanied a lot of abuse, whether it be |
| 1:08.0 | verbal abuse or physical abuse. I remember waking up in the morning and having to walk over people who had passed out the night before. |
| 1:15.6 | And I was only, I think, kindergarten in our first grade at the time. |
| 1:19.2 | So there's a lot of just taking care of myself having to grow up quick. |
| 1:23.5 | And I think in hindsight, I thought that would be the factor that would fear me away for using any sort of drugs or alcohol. |
| 1:31.8 | When in fact, I think it ended up being one of the main reasons why I ended up using was to try to escape all those memories. |
| 1:40.0 | Yeah. |
| 1:40.9 | Wow. |
| 1:41.5 | So things started for you fast. |
| 1:43.5 | And where were you born at? I was born and raised in |
| 1:46.8 | San Diego, California. I lived there for about 18 years with different family members. Eventually, |
