0:12.3	I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.
0:18.0	So much has happened in the Brian Coburger case, and we all know that he was,
0:24.7	he pled guilty, and the sentencing is for July 23rd. And sort of segueing to a different aspect
0:32.6	of this case, and that is the families and the grief that the families have had to endure during now two
0:42.9	and a half years since these murders on November 13th, 2022. And you wonder how human beings
0:51.8	get through grief of such a magnitude?
0:56.3	How are they able to do it?
0:57.9	And we've seen the different families deal with it in different ways.
1:04.2	And one of the families, of course, that has been highlighted that I've spoken about all the time,
1:09.4	is the Chapin family, who you see up on
1:12.1	the screen here. And just a magnificent family, Jim and Stacey Chapin are the mom and dad,
1:22.1	and Ethan Hunter and Maisie are the triplets. And how they've conducted themselves through this ordeal is just unbelievable, unbelievable.
1:36.1	And on the other side of the coin, we have the Consolvis family.
1:40.5	And the pain that they're in is so obvious on their faces of the way that they
1:47.5	have dealt with this and it's just I just it pains me to look at it and I think you know
1:57.7	we all deal with grief differently. And, but in the same vein, it eats everyone
2:06.6	up inside in the same way. And how you deal with it intellectually and mentally and somehow get through it
2:16.5	is where the rubber hits the road.
2:20.2	I don't know if that's the proper term to use, but you and your family have to survive this.
2:28.4	You know, Jim and Stacey Chapin, they have to survive this.
