Well, you reached out on Twitter, I'm glad you did. It actually prompted me to go and watch it because I've been so busy

I hadn't got around to watching the film the last time we talked about it on the pod, Wayne had seen it.

So I really enjoyed the documentary, it felt like pure fan service, I have to admit there was a bit of

a dusty moment in our house when the final moments of the Champions League came around.

It's always the case, you know? It's like, I guess it's one of those games in your formative

years where really hits hard. But, oh look, tell us about yourself. How do you end up doing this documentary? What's the sort of origin story behind it?

And why did you end up directing it?

Well, first, you know, thanks for having me on.

Yeah, I listened to your pod with Wayne talking about it.

You know, it's, it just, I just thought it'd be interesting to sort of have a chat talk through.

You haven't really done much of that and I'm sort of very aware I suppose making a

documentary like this that it's two things like my brief is sort of to make a

story that everybody can understand you know even if you're not a united fan, but also for the united

fans it's a sort of big responsibility to take something that means so much to all of you guys.

And the sleight, as I said to Wayne on, Wayne a message you know you know you know you're never perhaps going to be able to please everybody but you hope you get somewhere close enough but yeah my I'm a I was a journalist documentary filmmaker now did a film on

Gaza a few years ago that his sort of option that led to his downfall and the tabloid press in the UK.

And I was given a call to after that.

And my producer, a great guy called Miles Coleman,
