I'm delighted to bring you our featured guest, Kevin Newell. Welcome, Kevin. Thank you, Don. Glad to

be here with you today. Thank you, sir. Kevin, are you using your talents doing work that you love?

Oh, I would absolutely say that I am right now. Perfect. Kevin Newell is a retired

C-suite executive of a Fortune 500 and Dow 30 company. He began his career in the advertising

industry in Chicago before joining McDonald's Corporation, where he spent 27 years rising to the position of

Division President and Global Chief Brand Officer.

Upon retirement in 2016, he became the executive advisor of the tech company HubConnect.

He also serves on the boards of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, the Off the Street Club,

and the Lewis Carr Internship Foundation. Well, congratulations on an amazing career, Kevin.

We want to dive into that whole story. Tell our listeners right now what you're engaged in just

for a few minutes that has you engaged you know, engaged and motivated right now?

Well, what I'm doing right now, Don, is, you know, to a greater extent, what I wanted to do

as soon as I retired. I retired in April of 2016 from McDonald's. And at the time, I said to myself, I've done a lot with this corporation,

helping a lot of people achieve their individual goals. I helped the company make a lot of money.

And now that I'm retired, I wanted to transfer that time and energy into helping those kids from the west side of

Chicago, where I grew up, I wanted to help those kids see and achieve their full potential.

So I've been doing a lot of volunteer work. I will tell you, prior to COVID,

shutting down the country, I spent a lot of time working with kids at Michelle Clark High School
