The central figure in tonight's story is Andy Beecham, a hard-working prospector, typical

of the Old West.

Andy had searched for gold in desert and mountains, in good times and bath, under burning sun and freezing snow.

Because of his courage, he had met the disappointment of the years, continuing his hunt for the precious metal in spite of all obstacles.

When he was just about to give up hope of ever finding the yellow gold, he suddenly struck it rich.
