Happy to be here with you today.

And I am coming on as a little bit of an interruption to our regularly scheduled programming.

We are right in the middle of a series where we're talking about some problematic characteristics of the eternal doctrine of marriage here in the Church

of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And while I know a lot of us are very involved in that,

and I personally think a great series and excited to get back to it it felt

really important to take a pause and to be present with what many of us are feeling at the recent

disclosure of the settlement between the lDS church and the cc and some of the financial issues that we have all,

well, I guess I can't speak for the crowd, but I know we have in our home been following this
