was Cody's idea now that I think about it. How did we get into this incredible topic that's going to make at least 58%

of listeners, that's a scientific number, mad? And that is the top 10 point guards in the NBA right now.

Cody, what, how did we, how did you convince me to do this?

Because you know that this is a great podcasting conversation a B I mean I honestly think out of all the

positions this is the most intriguing position right now what there's a lot of good point guards there's a lot of great

point guards and I think they're all kind of muddled together and separating them is just going to be a wonderful conversation.

That's why you agreed.

It's torture, but it's true. The, the, I think this came about because we were talking about

some other point guards we had talked about Darius Garland and you know guys in the

past that we said let's table for this larger conversation

because there's so many good point guards and I think that's part of what made

this exercise so impossible for me because you have your usual challenges with rankings where you say like

ah the difference maybe between three and six or seven and ten isn't really paramount in my

mind but I have to pick one and then everyone who listens fixates on the actual

number you pick. There's that but there's a lot of really I could not believe

the point guards that did not make the cut and you just don't think about how many good point

cards there are and then you're like oh yeah that guy yeah Lonzo Ball didn't make my top 10.

How did that happen?

Yeah that's exactly it and I think the main thing that makes this particularly difficult is just the diversity and play style among all these point guards.

Like all of these guys aren't the same. So you started to have to think like, do I value this more? Do I value this more, am I looking at just the context of this team,

or I thinking about what if we transferred these two players, and I think all of those kinds of conversations
