Summary

Sometimes when we peek behind the curtain, we discover something that we wish we didn't know. Imagine what it would be like to peek behind the curtain of the mind only to see yourself peeking behind the curtain of the mind. Discovering that what you have been searching for is who is searching. In this episode, I will discuss the idea of the rascal behind the curtain.

I am your host Noah Rochetta, and today I'm talking about the Rascal Behind the Curtain.

0:16.8

So what is the Rascal Behind the Curtain?

0:20.2

Some people are curious by nature. Some people want to peek behind the curtain and see what's going on back there and others don't.

0:29.1

And my whole life I've been a very curious person by nature.

0:35.0

And I always like knowing the source of where things come from. I find this sense of curiosity

0:43.0

is what leads me to want to research or watch documentaries that, you know, that peek behind

0:49.3

1:12.8

of curiosity years ago when I was studying my religious views. You know, I wanted to know who

1:20.7

wrote the Bible or where did the Bible come from? I had always been told, well, you've got to read

1:25.2

1:32.0

where did this come from? Who wrote it? And I started studying part Irman's work with New Testament

1:38.8

historicity. And that kind of started to change my worldview. I like to do this with with anything.

1:45.7

You know, the Buddha said this. Well, who says that the Buddha said this? Where do these writings come

1:50.5

from? I like to peek behind the curtain. And that sense of curiosity is natural for me.

1:57.2

And there's no area where you're safe from from what you might find behind the curtain, right? Like,

2:04.0

well, where does our oil and gasoline come from? What all does it take for us to consume the oil

2:10.0

that we use? And you peek behind the curtain and you may not like what you're going to see.

2:15.7

You can do this with plastics or clothing. Where does our clothing come from? I remember
