when we're reading our one-star reviews or we meet people it's not

uncommon that people are like so how long have you all two to bend together and we're like

approximately five years as prosecutors and four years as

podcasters oh you meant in that sense no no no no but unavailable also

because I know you guys are all just like at the edge of your seats wanting to know when you

can admit something as admissible an exception to hearsay if the person who would otherwise be testifying is

unavailable and not in the relational sense. Right. This is probably one of my

favorite of the exceptions.

I don't know why.

It just is for some reason.

It makes me giggle because I do,

you know, before we started started recording I was saying that I

remembered some sort of like Matt Locke kind of legal drama about these rules

and we'll talk more about them as we go through them but they each one is written like a

little soap opera.
