Hi everybody, welcome back to the Be There In Five Podcast. I'm Kate Kennedy your host.

But for today, I am nothing but a

nine-time bridesmaid myself and I wanted to do this episode for so long.

It's a deep dive of sorts, but honestly, you know, it's not nothing informative nor educational.

Rather similar to this sorority episode. I want to talk about

funny experiences we endure as groups of women that we love, we love to hate, we wouldn't trade

for the world. I think situations are funny where, you know, we all complain but like

we're both the object and the subject at a point in time, right? Like we're the problem and the

solution, we're the victim and the aggressor because even though we hate when other people do

these things, we then go off and do them too. And it's like being in a sorority because I would

honestly, I would like in being a bridesmaid to a bizarre form of pleasant mild hazing

where it's a cyclical process of, well, I did this for you, so you do this for me, which is whatever

great friendship is based off of. But you know, I've had, I've not done this because my fear, of course,

as a person who loves everybody and his friends with everybody still who's weddings I was in.

And I don't want my nearest endearest to be offended by me gesting this.

This tradition, this tradition where, you know, to speak in Netflix is a cheer terminology.

This tradition where I'd say it's like one of the only times in life we don't want to make

Matt, if you will, I think, you know, it's, it's, it's always an honor and a privilege, obviously.

And it, like are you kidding me to be selected out of somebody's, all of somebody's friends for

their entire life as a person they want beside them is incredibly meaningful. And I don't

detract from that whatsoever. For me, it's not about that, it's not about the relationship with

the bride. It's not about like the concept of being a bride's maid. Like I love all that that
