Welcome to the Just Baseball show.

Got a couple pinch hitters in here because we wanted to make sure that we got our community some baseball content when you had a big game five in the LCS,

what turned out to be the final game of the NLCS.

And so you got myself, Ryan Fickleston, the editor-in-chief of just baseball and our head of

operations, Elijah Evans on tonight to talk about these games.

I called it yesterday, Elijah.

I called it.

I didn't think it was going to happen the way that I called it.

We'll get into it a lot

more detailed, but I said, Shohay Otani, could he have a little league game where he does it all

and ends up coming from nowhere to win the NLCS MVP? And I guess we'll find out shortly,

but he might have just done that. Unbelievable, man. What a night of baseball.

It's awesome to be here, first of all.

This is my first appearance on the J.B. show hopping in with you. So for those who don't know me, yeah, I do operations for just baseball. And I'm just excited to talk about this, man, because, I mean, did we just watch the greatest postseason performance of all time? they said that in the broadcast at the end of the game.

They said the greatest postseason performance in MLB history.

And there's no comparison because he's in a league of his own.

I mean, no one has ever done this.

I mean, you're never going to get back in the old days.

There was never going to be an actual starting pitcher to go yard three times.

I'm sure at some point, maybe a starting pitcher went yard in a postseason start, but I doubt

that that pitcher also struck out 10. And again, they certainly didn't go yard three times.
