0:51.2	First question from Brett Peary. Why did Anthropic buy Bun? So if you didn't hear the news
0:57.5	a couple weeks ago, Anthropic bought Bun, Bun, the JavaScript runtime. Why would they do that when
1:04.2	they can just ask Claude to make a run, JavaScript runtime? But this was, this is a pretty interesting
1:09.5	move. And the reason that they did this was because
1:14.0	the Claude code SDK runs on Bun, and they want to be able to ship the Claude code, not going to say
1:24.4	binary, but like the app itself. and they want to ship it ideally with
1:29.5	the JavaScript runtime. I'm pretty sure that's what they do right now as well. And in order to
1:34.2	make that thing as small and as fast as possible, and I'm assuming get the features in that they
1:41.2	necessarily need, it's great to bring Bun under their wing and have
1:45.9	them continue developing that. Yeah, it was interesting to me because it's like, Bun is such a
1:51.5	unique case where everything about Bun feels just a different approach than, like, whether
1:58.7	that is the fact that it's written with Zig or the fact
2:01.2	that they're unapologetically adding features that JavaScript, No.js, and other...
2:08.0	Non-standard APIs, just because they should be there. I personally, I do like using Bun.
