Summary
Mike and Kelsey react to the 96th Academy Awards nominations. They talk about who they think will win, who they were surprised actually got nominated and the outrage over MAJOR snubs this year . In the Movie Review, Mike and Kelsey give their thoughts on the Boys in the Boat directed by George Clooney. The film takes place during the height of the Great Depression. The members of the rowing team at the University of Washington get thrust into the spotlight as they compete for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Kelsey compares the movie vs the book and Mike explains why he thinks this movie is perfect for ‘school movie day’. In the Trailer Park, Mike takes a look at Road House starring Jake Gyllenhaal. It’s a reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems. It’s coming out on March 21st on Prime Video.
