Summary

Bishop Sam Young is no stranger to Mormon Stories, and in these episodes we meet with Sam again to discuss his decision to escalate his cause to protect LDS children by attempting a 21-day hunger strike and daily spotlight near Temple Square.  We discuss the purpose of Sam’s hunger strike and allow him the opportunity to discuss the effectiveness of his latest actions to end one-on-one interviews between clergy and youth behind closed doors, and in asking questions of a sexual nature.  Sam also discusses the 29 questions he has compiled of questions individuals have been asked behind closed doors of an inappropriate and pornographic nature.  We then ask Sam what his next steps will be if his escalation does not bring about the desired change.

where they just said we don't negotiate with terrorists because they realized that if they negotiated

with terrorists, that's actually rewarding or reinforcing the terrorism because then basically

and they get, they get listened to and they get their demands met. I can very much imagine

the PR department, the whatever strategy, tacticians that help guide the quorum of the 12, the first

presidency whoever advises them, the Garrett Gongs passed in prison. I imagine them basically

deciding that if we have every Yahoo progressive or post Mormon activist, the K-kelies, the Jeremy

Rennels, the John D'Alins, the same youngs, whoever they are, if we have to a seed to their

basically going to be giving the members the idea that they should do this and that we're

not led by God, but that we're just reacting to the demands of terrorist members, activist
