I'm happy to be here today for this webinar about sound therapy and sound medicine for your

using music to music lessons to sharpen your ADHD and ADHD and ADHD and

and LD child's brain. I spend over the last 30 plus years

studying how music affects the brain and how it builds a bigger better brain. I'm another of five boys and my initial

inspiration to study the brain benefits of music came about the same time my third son Brandon

was born. Brandon's offered a very traumatic birth. My doctor was going out of town

and so he induced my labor. Brandon was too high in the birth canal and the doctor

literally dragged him out with four sets. It caused a lot of damage. I'm not going to go into all the details, but by the age of three we did have him in speech and language therapy.

At the age of six when he was about midway through kindergarten we decided to have him

tested so he had him tested both through the public schools and privately the

results that came back were Grimm he had auditory processing, auditory discrimination, visual motor, visual perception.

There were sensory integration issues and attention deficit disorder.
