What's up and welcome to another episode of the Scott and Ian show on the SBL podcast.

Now, look, a couple episodes ago, Scott and I did one called like, our signature bass is done.

It was all about do they have the same weight, the same cool factor, the same panache, the same

chutzpah. I don't know if I'm using that correctly,

or if now I'll be canceled for using that. But you know what I'm saying? Do they have the same

meaning and cool factor as they used to? I don't know. There's a way I feel about it. There's a way

Scott feels about it. If you haven't listened to that episode, check it out because I think it's a good time. But as we were filming that, I knew that I had

this collaboration coming out with Mike Lull, me and Spencer Lull from Mike Lull bases in Seattle.

And I just wasn't telling Scott like when it was all happening. And he had some sort of vague idea of it, but I feel like when that signature bass is done episode came out.

Then the next day on Instagram, the collab with Mike Lull dropped and it's the IMA4, which is technically not a signature base, although my initials are in the model number.

I made this base with Spencer as a collaboration to be something that hopefully everyone would

want to check out.

It's a cross between a jazz and a Thunderbird, two of my favorite instruments of all time,

but I didn't put like my hat and glasses on the back or like a signature like an actual signature there's

nowhere where it says i am a on it or has a signature out of any kind because i want to be your base right

but scott is not happy to see that distinction and he absolutely kicks my ass in this episode

and it's really fun so get ready for that

also scott gets roasted in the studio he breaks down what went down on his session making his

divine king project with his friend simon king incredible guitar player and composer. They went into the studio with a

bunch of heavy, heavy cats. And I can say cats because these guys are all jazz dudes for

sure. He's going to break that down, talk about what was really amazing about it, and what was
