Now, like so many of us, I had to renegotiate my mortgage at the end of last year, and there

was just so much volatility in the markets, I felt like it was just something I couldn't

sort out on my own.

Now the mortgage man is a fully regulated team of over 20 female brokers, and they really

understand that money is an emotional tool, and not just a business one.

And obviously as regular listeners will know, I sold my house last year, and I wish I'd

As both I and the mad husband are self-employed, we ended up using a broker to get us through

the lending process, which is Byzantine at the moment, it's so complicated.

And even though we were moving and existing mortgage and reducing it, it still took six

months to sort out, and it really felt like they kept moving the goalposts.
