So to what extent, you know, how did you deal with Emily when this was happening and were you scared?

You know, do you remember like the first moment you thought, well this might not be true?

And then started like the wheel started turning about what the implications might be, what the risks might be.

What was that like for you that process?

So I don't remember a specific like the first time that I talked to Emily about it, but I mean we've always been tight.

I mean I don't remember being and maybe again I'm too young and dumb to know that this could at the time that this could be really serious to our marriage.

But I remember while we were a bucknell and even after we moved to Houston in 2002 trying to have these initial conversations and not really being, I didn't try to hide my concerns about the church from Emily.

I think we would we would talk about it now.

The more we began to talk about it, I think the more I began to realize, oh wow this is this is going to be a big problem.

But initially, you know, chalk it up to an Iavate or just being, you know, too young or dumb.

I didn't really have trepidation initially about saying, hey, I've learned some things. Let me tell you what I've learned.

So Emily, I'm guessing you remember when he first told you, is that true?

Well, I don't remember the first time, but let me go back and set the stages to what I'm doing while he's in school and being educated in his minds blowing up.
