Hello, Swampdweller. I've sent you a story before, and I have been listening to you for

many, many years now. So for some backstory, these two events happened at my grandparents' house.

The house is a two-story house with a cellar for food storage. I spent most of my childhood at my grandparents' house.

They lived in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by woods, but as a child, I was never scared

of them.

I spent all of my time with my grandmother, as did most of the grandkids, because my granddad was a drunk, so nobody wanted to spend

time with him. He wasn't really violent. He would just drink himself silly every day and pass out.

All of the grandkids would always sleep in the living room. I don't know why. There were two

empty bedrooms upstairs, but we always slept in the living room.

The first event happened to my older cousin who was about four years older than me.

We'll call him Alexander. When he turned 18, he started sleeping upstairs when visiting our

grandparents. One night he was upstairs. He heard his father's voice say, Alex, very firmly and sounding

angry. The only thing was that his father wasn't even in the city, and our grandpa was passed out

drunk downstairs. My cousin, who was in the military, got scared and went to sleep downstairs.

When I turned 19, I was sleeping upstairs alone for the first time.

I had my headphones in and I was watching YouTube.

Then I heard a man's voice say my name, sounding somewhat angry.

I thought it was just me imagining things.

My grandfather wasn't even in the house at the time because he was getting terminal care over an hour away.

I took one of my earbuds out and continued watching the YouTube video until I heard it again.

This time, it was much closer and much louder.
