I thought you were going to say, welcome to the occupied Washington, D.C., live on the ground at our nation's capital that is currently

occupied by a military force from across the nation, with Republican states sending their

troops into D.C. because big balls got slapped by a 15-year-old girl.

I'm too tired for that.

All that's pretty accurate, though.

I mean, we are in the middle of a hostile military invasion and occupation of the nation's

capital in a time of peace and prosperity.

In a time where,

I mean, I can't remember the last time.

I don't know that I've ever felt unsafe walking in the city.

There might have been a time two years ago in the summer that I felt a little nervous, like at night, maybe, maybe.

I don't remember a specific time.

But, you know, I'm just being as much fairness and charity as I can offer.

Maybe, maybe.

But not for two fucking years at all.
