Let's go ahead and talk about the first piece of news we got here which is an

update that is coming tomorrow.

So version 14 or they say boo.

Version 14.40 arises tomorrow, October 21st.

Down time starts at approximately 4 a.m. Eastern.

Probably by the time most of you listen to this,

it will be the day of this update but I know there's quite a few of you

who listen to the episode even when I put it out really late at night.

So yeah the the update is coming or for some of you it's already here and they say please note the patch size will be larger than normal on PC

approximately 27 gigabytes. This is to make optimizations on PC resulting in a massively reduced Fortnite file size, over 60

gigabytes smaller, smaller downloads for future patches and improved loading performance.

So they're letting you know that this update is going to be larger than normal,

but that's going to make it so that the patches in the future

will be smaller and faster. So, hey, that's cool. I think you know, I'm willing to be inconvenienced one time to make things better in the future going forward so that is pretty cool
