My Terrifying Time at O'Neill But by Jeremy of Rome.

I've always been an adrenaline junkie so when my friends invited me on a rock climbing trip to O'Neill Butte

you know I could not resist

I heard stories about the area being haunted

but I brushed them off as folklore

but little did I know, those stories would

become my reality. We arrived at the Butte early in the morning, and I couldn't help but feel a

sense of unease as we started our ascent. O'Neill Butte is a towering sandstone monolith

located in the heart of Sedona, Arizona.

It's known for its challenging routes and stunning views, but there's more to this

butte than meets the eye.

As we climbed higher, the air grew colder and the wind picked up.

It felt as if we were being watched.

Every time I turned to look, there was never

anything there. I tried to shake off the feeling and focus on the climb, but it only got worse.

That's when we reached the halfway point and everything changed. My friend, who was leading the

climb, suddenly froze in place. I asked him what was wrong, but he didn't want to respond.

It was as if he was in some sort of trance.

That's when I heard it.

A low whispering that seemed to be coming from the rock itself.

I looked around frantically, but I couldn't see anything.
