Some very good news. Some bishops are getting creative. They're doing some workarounds in order

to preserve the traditional on mass. And one of those bishops is Bishop Paprakki at diocese

of Springfield, Illinois. He talked to CNA. And this was reported by Tyler Arnold. I want

to give him credit. And he's defending his traditional mass community. And he says, I

think the local diocesan bishops are much more in tune with what is going on in their

diocese than an office in Rome. And of course, he is referring to the troublesome recent.

That's not it. Let's see. I thought I had the quote here, but I don't have it. I have

the Canon, Canon 87, which has been used by bishops to not obey Tritianus Castodus, which

came out in July of 2021. And unfortunately, Cardinal Roe, just this past week, issued a

counter decree. This is all Canon law battles. It's sad because our Lord Jesus Christ came

to do away with legalism. You know, we're not saved by Canon law or saved by Jesus Christ

in the Gospels. So it's kind of sad that we're having to see this chess match. You move

upon forward the night moves in, bring a bishop across, set the queen. That's what's going

on here. It's really disturbing. So the latest document basically said no more to parish

churches for the Latin Mass. And Bishop Apraki had a very good solution. He said, okay,

you're going to play that. I'm going to bring out my test piece here. And what he did

is he named the church sacred heart as a non-parash church, a non-purokyl church. So suddenly,

the new thing doesn't, the new decree doesn't apply to that church. Because in Canon law,

you can have parishes oratories, semi-oratories. I believe that's maybe still in there.

Could I recently heard? And so he just changed the name of it. And he's saying, look, this

is a matter of some cityarity. You know, we're talking about synod of synodality and, you

know, local consultations. But when it comes to the Latin Mass, there's no local consultations.
