With everything going on in the world's day revolving around appealing the Affordable

Care Act, I thought it would be interesting to talk to a few people who have type

one diabetes who count on the Affordable Care Act for their health care. I also speak with

someone who has type one diabetes who tried to just change jobs and lost its coverage because of a

pre-existing condition. When I began looking for people who wanted to come on and

talk about this subject I was reminded by one of the listeners of the of the podcast

Clayton and Clayton thank you very much Clayton wrote me a note and he said I just

want to send you a quick note he said quote every single one of us is affected by

the ACA even if we have employer plans, coverage of

pre-existing conditions, the prevention of lifetime limits, making it unlawful to

charge more for premiums if one has a chronic condition, access to women's and preventative health and on and on and on are protected by the ACA.

So in this episode you're going to hear from three different adults living with type 1 diabetes.

Each of them has a unique story that I think highlights the importance of the Affordable Care Act. character.
